What Firmio is, and who it is for
Firmio is video-quote software for businesses that quote a job from what is in a home, its situation and its access. It is opening to moving companies first, then to home-service businesses such as junk removal, estate clean-outs, furniture and appliance delivery and installation, and storage.
Firmio was built by CNS Logistics, a Montreal moving company, for its own moves, and it is in use there today.
How the software works, step by step
With Firmio, the customer films the home, the software checks each clip and drafts the inventory, a person at the business checks every line, the customer confirms the list, and a person sets the price in writing.

The customer films each room in the phone's browser, with no app to install.

Each clip is checked within seconds, so a clip too dark to read can be filmed again on the spot.

AI drafts the list from still images taken from the video, never from the video itself.

A person checks every line and can accept it, correct it, ask the customer, or remove it. The same person confirms or puts back the items the AI left out.

A person at the business sets the price and gives it in writing.

Each step is saved as a sealed record with a digital fingerprint that shows if anything was changed afterwards.
Firmio drafts a list of items; it does not measure rooms or surfaces, and it never sets a price.
Live at CNS Logistics
Firmio has been live at CNS Logistics, a Montreal moving company, since October 10, 2026. CNS customers start their video quote on cnslogistics.ca, and the filming pages are at vision.cnslogistics.ca.
At CNS, an estimator reviews and approves every inventory before the customer sees it. The price is then set by a moving consultant at CNS Logistics, from the customer's checked inventory.
Set by a person. Never by software.
Why CNS built Firmio
CNS Logistics built Firmio to close the gap between the job a customer describes and the job CNS finds on the day. Two figures explain why.
27% of the complaints received by Quebec's Office de la protection du consommateur in its "moving, storage and delivery" category, from 2021 to 2025, carry the code "Pratiques interdites prix" (prohibited price practices). Across all sectors: 10%.
On about 306 of our moves from April 2025 to June 2026, billed hours ran a median 32% above the hours in the quotes our team wrote from the customer's description.

From 2021 to 2025, twenty-seven percent of the complaints Quebec's consumer protection office received about moving, storage and delivery were for prohibited price practices. Across all sectors, it was ten percent.

Third, a person sets your price, in writing, before you book.
At CNS Logistics, a guaranteed move has a fixed price, written in the contract. It does not go up because the work took longer than planned. A guaranteed move is one CNS packs, starting in Quebec, for a customer living in Quebec when the contract is made, and ending in Quebec or Ontario.
If something is damaged on a guaranteed move and you report it in writing within seventy-two hours, a claim under two thousand dollars gets a written decision within forty-eight hours of your complete claim. On the packing day, the crew lead films your furniture with you.
